The Hon. Sarah Mitchell is our current Minister for Education and Early Childhood Learning and I’m sure she would have been delighted to see our Gawura students in Parliament House.

Our Year 6 students had a ball at NSW State Parliament House.

After being shown around the building they sat in the Legislative Council & the Legislative Assembly, learnt how a bill becomes law and practiced making a law.

Joylara, our Gawura Captain was the Minister for Education and proposed a bill, and Peter the Shadow Education Minister.
