The amazing Indigenous learning from the Wiradjuri On Country Tour continues. Wiradjuri Elders from Bathurst Heritage Park conducted activities in weaving, boomerang throwing and Wiradjuri art. Thanks to Aunty Jill and Uncle Bill who shared stories about country and the absolutely amazing session on Skylore hosted by David McKinnen (Professor in astronomy at ECU). Our Indigenous students have come away with wonderful experiences and a wealth of knowledge which will prepare them for the future as they too become Elders one day!
