Thank you so much to everyone who came along to Gawura’s annual fundraiser and showed their support as well as all those who couldn’t make it but still donated.

We raised a wonderful $40,000 which will go directly to Gawura school so students can attend camps, have music lessons, be given additional learning support if needed and have access to cultural learning activities.

A huge thank you too to the night’s supporters – G’Day Baby, the GWS Giants, the South Sydney Rabbitohs, the Sydney Swans & Brad Swibel, Acting Head of School.

Jodie Taylor from Supply Nation who was a wonderful MC and our very own Michael Kirk gave a great speech too.  We also had the opportunity to officially present the Australian School of the Year trophy to John Ralph and the Gawura teachers at the event.
