After the NAIDOC celebration St Andrew’s Cathedral School held the biggest fundraiser ever for Gawura.  With the aim of raising enough to fund one scholarship for a student all the way from year 7 to year 12, in honour of Dr John Collier, the Head of St Andrew’s Cathedral School who is leaving at the end of the year.

The result was beyond our wildest dreams, with enough raised to fund two scholarships for students right through high school.  We are so grateful to every supporter and to al of SACS family who gave.  This will have an impact today, in seven years when the student finishes high school and right through their lifetime.

Thank you so much to everyone who supported us – two of these lucky children will receive a scholarship right through to the end of year 12.
